1780–1833

Second Generation: Martha Warner < William Warner

My 4th great grandaunt (5th great aunt)

Martha was the daughter of William Warner and Elizabeth White. She was born in Howden, Yorkshire on January 16, 1780 and baptized on February 20, 1780.1

Martha had one child as a single mother:

  1. Robert Warner (Norton)

She married Miles Norton in Stillingfleet, Yorkshire on November 25, 1806.2

They had at least six children, all girls, as far as we know:

  1. Elizabeth Norton
  2. Sarah Norton
  3. Hannah Norton
  4. Mary Ann Norton
  5. Emma Norton
  6. Mary Norton

Martha died in July 1833 and was buried in Stillingfleet on the 10th of that month.3

Notes

* For my most distant cousins (the ones not descended from the William Warner who married Hannah Benson and emigrated to Canada in the 1820s), this website (for the time being) only expands the family lines that have been supported by DNA evidence. In the case of this family, only the lines of Sarah Norton and Emma Norton meet that criterion.
