Third Generation: Mary Norton < Martha Warner < William Warner

My 1st cousin 5 times removed

Mary was the daughter of Martha Warner and Miles Norton and was baptized in Stillingfleet, Yorkshire on September 19, 1819.1 We don’t know her exact birth date, but it was almost certainly earlier that year.

She married George Skinner, also in Stillingfleet, on February 12, 1850 (it was his second marriage).2 Two of George’s children from his first marriage, Michael and Sarah, were still living at home.3 Mary and George went on to have five children together, that we know of: two boys and three girls:3 4 5

Mary died in Stillingfleet in August, 1877 at the age of fifty-eight. She was buried there on August 13, 1877.6

Mary is my first cousin, five times removed. I haven’t yet done the research necessary to capture the stories of her children and their descendants but if you’re interested in this branch of the family, please let me know (via this link) and I’ll move it to the top of my to-do list.
