Third Generation: Mary Ann Norton < Martha Warner < William Warner

My 2nd cousin 4 times removed

Mary Ann was the daughter of Martha Warner and Miles Norton. She was born in Kelfield, Yorkshire in 1813 and was baptized in Stillingfleet, Yorkshire on August 1 of that year.

She had two children with an unknown father:

  1. Martha Hannah Norton (born 1839)
  2. Sarah Maria Norton (born 1840)

She married George Ridsdill about 1850(?).* They had three children together:

  1. Mary Ellen Ridsdill
  2. Paulina Ridsdill
  3. George Ridsdill

Mary Ann died in Stillingfleet on October 9, 1883, at the age of 70. She was buried in the St. Helen Churchyard in Stillingfleet.

Notes

* I have found no record of a marriage. If Mary Ann and George were married, it would probably have been about 1850, as their first child together was born about 1852.
