Third Generation: Sarah Norton < Martha Warner < William Warner
My 1st cousin 5 times removed
Sarah was the daughter of Martha Warner and Miles Norton. She born in 1810 and baptized in Stillingfleet, Yorkshire on June 24, 1810 of that year.
She married Joseph H. Granger. They had ten children:

- George L. Granger
- Isaac Harrison Granger
- Hannah Sophia Granger
- Sarah Jane “Jennie” Granger
- Mary A. Granger
- William Miles Granger*
- John A. Granger
- Martha Louise Granger**
Sarah died in 1894 and was buried in the Furnaceville Cemetery in Ontario, New York.

* For my most distant cousins (the ones not descended from the William Warner who married Hannah Benson and emigrated to Canada in the 1820s), this website (for the time being) only expands the family lines that have been supported by DNA evidence. In the case of this family, only the lines of Elizabeth Granger and William Miles Granger meet that criterion.
** I’ve expanded the family of Sarah’s daughter Martha Louise because of an unusual connection. Descended from Martha Warner, she married a man named Albert Eldoras Warner (unrelated, as far as we know), and a genealogy of that Warner family reports an unsubstantiated myth about our Warner family.
