About 1755–1807

Generation 1

Paternal grandmother of William Warner (1808–1845)

Elizabeth White was my fifth great grandmother. She married William Warner in Howden, Yorkshire on October 20, 1776.1 2 The record shows that she was twenty-one when she married, so she would have been born about 1755, probably in Howden.2

Elizabeth and William would go on to have at least ten children over the next . For information about their family, please refer to William’s page.

Elizabeth remarried after William’s death in 1801. Her second husband was a flax dresser named Richard Brown, and they were married in Howden on April 11, 1803.

Elizabeth died in Howden in March, 1807 and was buried there on March 18.
