Mary was the daughter of Elizabeth Warner and Thomas Rook. She was born in Howden, Yorkshire about 1804 and married John Mapplebeck in Snaith, Yorkshire on December 18, 1823.
They had the following children:

- Bessy Mapplebeck
- Ephraim Mapplebeck
- Charlotte Mapplebeck
- Mary Mapplebeck
Mary died in Goole, Yorkshire in 1883.

In the case of this family, only Jane Mapplebeck‘s line meets that criterion.
