Jane was the daughter of Mary Rook and John Mapplebeck. She was born in Rawcliffe, Yorkshire about 1804 and married George Levitt in Selby, Yorkshire in 1849.

They had the following children:

  4. Ephraim Levitt
  5. Mary Jane Levitt
  6. Charlotte E Levitt
  7. Elizabeth Levitt
  8. George Henry Levitt

Jane died in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire in 1906.

* For my most distant cousins (the ones not descended from the William Warner who married Hannah Benson and emigrated to Canada in the 1820s), this website (for the time being) only expands the family lines that have been supported by DNA evidence. In the case of this family, only Robert Levitt‘s line meets that criterion.
