Carol Ann Lewis was the daughter of Dorrit Edith Larkin and Allen Lewis Lewis. She was born in Toronto on September 23, 1928.
She married Kenneth Frederick MacLaren in New Westminster, British Columbia on October 22, 1948. They had four children:

Carol died in Vancouver, British Columbia on October 14, 1963, at the age of 35.
