John Kenneth Pelly was the son of Gilbert Cecil Pelly (1892–1961) and his wife Constance Margery Glazebrook (1893–1952). He was born in Reigate, Surrey, England on November 14, 1923.
He married Joan Campbell Fraser in Toronto on October 8, 1946. For information about their family, please refer to her page.
John died in Richmond Hill, Ontario on July 3, 2009, at the age of 85, and was buried at St. Philip’s Cemetery in Toronto.
