My 1st cousin twice removed
William Robert Warner, who went by the nickname Willy, was the son of William James Warner and Elizabeth Clark. He was born in Brockport, New York on July 26, 1887. He married Lillian Rose Hamlin in Detroit on October 30, 1906.
They had three children:
William died in Detroit on October 6, 1963, at the age of 72, and was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Detroit.*
Notes
* William’s obituary, printed in the Detroit Free Press on October 8, 1963 (page 25), says that he died on October 5. His gravestone inscription, however, says October 6.
