Stepdaughter of my first cousin once removed
Michelle Denise “Shelley” Puddicombe was the daughter of Ruth Irene Allen Puddicombe and the stepdaughter James Rix Warner. She was born on March 31, 1965 and died in Newmarket on April 21, 2006, at the age of 41. She was buried at the Newmarket Cemetery.
Notes
Given that her last name is Puddicombe, like her mother’s, and that her mother’s maiden name is Allen, it appears that Shelley was the child of her mother’s previous marriage to a man named Puddicombe. Unfortunately, I have found no information about this marriage.
Shelley’s obituary, her gravestone, and her father’s obituary all say that she is the daughter, rather than the stepdaughter of James Warner. I take this to indicate a very strong relationship between the two.
