John Campbell Fraser was the son of Leila Larkin and John Campbell Fraser. He was born in Toronto on August 7, 1927.
He married Gwendolyn Tonia Layzelle in Toronto on October 11, 1952. He was 25 and she was 23. They had five children:

John died in Vineland, Ontario on April 2, 2009, at the age of 81.
