Harriet M. Hayner was the daughter of Alexander Benjamin Hayner (1886–1943) and his wife Mabel Wonsey (1890–1919). She was born in St. Clair County, Michigan on June 23, 1914.
She married Perry Lee Wilson in Detroit on January 14, 1933. They were divorced.
She married Thomas Dougher in Pontiac, Michigan on March 7, 1934. They were divorced.
She married Edward Thomas Lynch in Royal Oak, Michigan on June 2, 1937. They were divorced.
