My grandaunt (great aunt)

Glenora Ruby Warner (who went by her middle name, “Ruby”) was the daughter of Harold Rix Warner and his wife Mary Jane Harber. She was born in Orillia, Ontario on April 3, 1899.

She married George Carman “Carm” Penelton in Toronto on August 6, 1921. They had two children:

  1. JHPP (living)
  2. Linda Irene Penelton (died in infancy)

Ruby died in January 1983, probably in Montreal, at the age of 83. She was buried at the Rideau Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Dollard-des-Ormeaux (Montreal).

Notes

Ruby and Carm lived most of their lives together in the west end of the island of Montreal.
