George Lewis Simpson was the son of Phillip Simpson and Mary Rhodes. He was born in Lund, Yorkshire on March 8, 1822.
He married Emma Norton in Hemingbrough, Yorkshire on April 27, 1845. For more information, please refer to her page.
He married Mary Jones in 1868.1 They had one child together:
- George Charles Jones Simpson (1872–1930)
George Lewis Simpson died in Tooele County, Utah on February 14, 1913.
