Emily Marguerite Tagg was the daughter of Emma Maria Williams and David Tagg. She was born in Chicago on October 10, 1893.
She married Charles Arthur Fertig in Multinomah County, Oregon on September 8, 1923. They had no children.
Emma died in Clatsop County, Oregon on May 30, 1978. She was buried at the Ocean View Cemetery in Warrenton, Oregon.
