Wife of my 2nd cousin once removed

Clara Rose Uschwald was the daughter of Charles Uschwald (1896–1965) and Rose H. Matczak ((1899–?). She was born in Detroit on June 16, 1920.

Clara died in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on April 11, 2010, and was buried at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. You can visit her grave (virtually) here, or read her obituary here.

CLARA ROSE WARNER, age 89, died on Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She was born Clara Rose Uschwald on June 16, 1920 in Detroit, to Charles and Rose Uschwald. She had been a resident of Harper Woods for 58 years, and was a former resident of Detroit for 30 years. Education: Clara graduated from Denby High School in Detroit. Occupation: Mrs. Warner worked in Real Estate Lending at Comerica Bank until retiring in 1960. She had many interests — enjoying cooking, sewing ,ceramics and playing the organ. She grew wonderful tomatoes and would deliver them to doctors’ offices for the staffs to enjoy. She also baked great cookies. And she volunteered with the Lymphoma Society. Mrs. Warner was a very independent lady, and above all loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren, Mark (Therese) and Jeff, and her great-grandchildren, Catherine and Elizabeth. They gave her so much joy.

Visitation: Thursday, April 15, 2010, from 2-8 PM at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI 48084 (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads), with an evening Rosary Service at 7 PM

Funeral Mass: Friday, April 16, 2010 – 10:30 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 19851 Anita, Harper Woods, with Reverend Robert Keller officiating. Visitation at church begins Friday at 10:00 AM

Interment: White Chapel Cemetery, in Troy, Michigan
