My 2nd cousin once removed
Bernard W. Gagnon was the son of Anna Ethel Warner and Bernard Marsh Gagnon.* He was born in Detroit on May 16, 1908.
He married Marie Angeline LeBeau in Detroit on May 20, 1939. She died 14 months later, on July 18, 1940.
Although they were married only briefly, it appears that they had a child or children, but we don’t know his/her/their name(s).**
Sometime after Marie’s death, Bernard married Hazel Alta Morehead Schraeder. They had no children together.
Bernard died in Houston on October 1, 1988 and was buried with military honours at Houston National Cemetery. You can visit his grave (virtually) here.

* We don’t know his middle name, only the initial, but we can speculate that it may have been “Warner” after his mother’s family.
** We only know that Marie had a child or children because her gravestone is inscribed with the word “mother.” You can see it here.
