Stepdaughter of my 2nd cousin once removed
Aldean Maxine “Deane” Schraeder was the daughter of Andrew Schraeder (1897–1969) and Hazel Alta Morehead, and the stepdaughter of Hazel’s second husband, Bernard W. Gagnon. She was born in Kansas on August 7, 1925.
She married Charles Carlton Griffin (1922–2010) about 1943. They had three daughters:

Aldean died on September 22, 2018, at the age of 93. She was buried with her husband at Houston National Cemetery.

Later in life, Aldean used the nickname, “Deane.” That is the name that appears in her husband’s obituary and on their headstone.
