My 3rd cousin 3 times removed

Robert Levitt was the son of Jane Mapplebeck and George Levitt. He was born in Rawcliffe, Yorkshire, England on March 12, 1856 and was baptized there on April 24, 1826. He married Mary Jane Clark in Middlesbrough, Yorkshire in 1876.

They had seven children that we know of:

  3. Robert H. Levitt
  4. George Levitt
  5. Annie Elizabeth Levitt*
  6. Thomas William Levitt
  7. Margaret Levitt

Robert died in Cleveland, Yorkshire in 1940, at the age of 84.

* For my most distant cousins (the ones not descended from the William Warner who married Hannah Benson and emigrated to Canada in the 1820s), this website (for the time being) only expands the family lines that have been supported by DNA evidence. In the case of this family, only Annie Elizabeth Levitt‘s line meets that criterion.
