Ainsley Quinn Courage Norman was the son of Ella Warner and Isaac Norman. He was born in Lennoxville, Quebec on November 20, 1912.
He married Marion Elizabeth Dorrance in Montreal on August 16, 1941. They had four children:

Ainsley died in Toronto in 1992, at the age of 80.
Notes
Ainsley’s two middle names were given to him in honour of his two grandmothers: Margaret Ann Quinn, the mother of Ella Warner, and Elizabeth Courage (1846–1879), the mother of Isaac Norman.
